FIDDLE-DEE-DEE.

My name is Katy-Jo. Middle name-Scarlett. I’m 20 years old and I live in Alabama. (Yes, I have all my teeth and no, I am not related to anyone I’ve “known” biblically.) I’ve lived in the South all my life, from San Antonio to New Orleans to Mobile, and I love it. There’s a quiet comfort here you can’t find once you cross that Mason-Dixon line. I have a slight obsession with Gone With the Wind and Vivien Leigh. Like Scarlett, I am not a “lady” in the Civil War era sense of the word, nor do I strive to be one. I speak my mind when able and bite my toungue when not. People are always shocked when they discover that I do not like sweet tea, and have never seen the movie Remember the Titans. Most recent films I haven’t seen, unless they happen to be musicals or I was dating someone at the time they came out and was forced to either rent it or see it in a theatre. But name a Judy Garland film and if it’s ever been on VHS or DVD I’ve probably seen it at least once. Judy Garland is my heart. My educational focus is Print Journalism with a minor in French. I’m not very domestically-inclined and as of right now I don’t want any kids, nor do I want to be married in my 20’s. Marriage can wait. Opportunities can’t.
